Some stunning photographs of Edinburgh have been chosen to feature in a new upcoming display at the City Art Centre.
Those at Museums and Galleries Edinburgh chose 18 amazing images to star in the 'Classical Edinburgh' exhibition which will run at the centre from 9 November to 8 March next year.
The photographs were chosen as they captured the classic beauty of Edinburgh in four separate categories – after dark, seasons, architectural gems and working life.
An eerie image of the Scottish National Gallery at night took home top prize in the 'after dark' section while 'the city observatory at sunset' was winner in the seasons category.
