MOHALI: Ashutosh Sanjay Lal, a resident of Zirakpur, is among 18 students from Mohali district stranded in Ukraine. Worried about his safety, his father Sanjay Lal said Ashutosh is trapped in a bunker with 490 other Indian students.
Pursuing MBBS at Dnipro State Medical University of Sevastoposk in Ukraine, Ashutosh had not slept all night amid explosions and had not yet spoken to the embassy yet, his father said. He has run out of food and drink some four days ago, Sanjay added.
At the moment, it is believed that they are staying in the city of Nimpro, where Russian military's influence is less and they have been taken the hostel managemto a safer bunker. The district administration has also issued helpline numbers 01722219505 and 01722219506 for the people of Mohali district stranded in Ukraine. Sanjay Lal has also provided information about his son.
