A 17-year-old male was taken to hospital in a critical condition after he was shot in south London.
The Metropolitan police have started investigating “any possible motive” behind the shooting, which happened in Dulwich on Tuesday afternoon.
“Police were called at 15:03 to South Croxted Road, SE21, having being alerted by the London ambulance service to a male suffering a gunshot wound,” police said in a statement.
“On arrival they found a 17-year-old with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He has been taken to a south London hospital and remains in a critical condition.”
No arrests have been made as yet in the investigation. South Croxted Road was closed after the arrival of the emergency services.
