A 17-year-old woman has been hospitalised in a serious but stable condition after a piece of metal fell onto her right leg in a workplace injury at Beresfield on Monday.
Three NSW Ambulance crews responded to the call for assistance around 9.30am, where they found the woman had suffered injury to her lower right leg.
Paramedics, with assistance from the Westpac Rescue Helicopter's critical care medical team, treated and stabilised the woman at the scene before she was taken by Ambulance to John Hunter Hospital for further treatment.
