Brent Crews has signed a deal to drive the No. 19 for Joe Gibbs Racing in the 2026 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts (formerly Xfinity) Series. The 17-year-old will run 29 of 33 events, and will only miss four due to the fact that he's not old enough to run at all track types.
The Toyota Development Driver would be eligible for a playoff waiver as missed races due to age restrictions are an allowable excuse.
Crews ran ten NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races this past year, and impressed with his performance. He scored two top fives, three top tens, and led over 100 laps. Crews' best showing came at the Charlotte Roval, where he finished second. Nine of his ten starts came with TRICON, while making another appearance with a new NCSTS team that he co-owns.
The rising star also has six ARCA wins in just 17 starts, as well as victories in both the ARCA East and ARCA West divisions.
The No. 19 JGR Toyota GR Supra used a variety of drivers throughout the 2025 season, and actually won the owner's championship with Aric Almirola behind the wheel at Phoenix. Almirola won three races in the No. 19, which was also piloted by Justin Bonsignore, Jack Perkins, Riley Herbst, Ty Gibbs, Chase Briscoe, and Christopher Bell.
