17-year-old boy critically hurt in West Humboldt Park shooting

A 17-year-old boy was critically wounded in a shooting Thursday night in West Humboldt Park.

The teen was in his vehicle at a stoplight in the 4400 block of West Augusta Boulevard about 9:10 p.m. when someone in a black Ford Fusion fired shots, striking him in the neck and shoulder, Chicago police said.

He was transported to Stroger Hospital where he was listed in critical condition, police said.

No one is in custody, according to police.
