It's fair to say things just aren't the same this year.
Recent restrictions have already meant a very different Christmas for those who would normally be socialising widely - hitting the town and navigating their way through all of the best pubs that Belfast and beyond have to offer.
Sadly, the thought of having a big meet-up at your favourite bar hasn't been a reality this year, with most pubs only allowing small groups into their establishments - with rules about eating substantial meals and social distancing firmly in place.
For those of you who have been craving that buzz of a night out on the town, we decided to look through some of the best Christmas photos from nights out over the years.
There's been plenty to choose from, with our photographers snapping the best of Belfast at Christmas, in all the top establishments - from The Points and The National, to Laverys and Bullitt Hotel.
We selected 15 photos from Belfast's Christmas nightlife over the years which sum up the fun that we'd normally have at this time (and which we hope to have again in the future).
