16-year-old boy charged with stealing motorbikes in Oldfield Park, Staple Hill and St George

Three teenage boys from Bristol will appear in court today (February 17) charged over the thefts of cars, motorbikes and a quadbike.

A 16-year-old boy, who is charged with conspiracy to burgle in connection with a number of dwelling burglaries in 2019, is among the three due to appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court.

The teenager has also been charged with conspiracy to receive stolen goods between June and December, as well as three counts of theft of a motor vehicle.

This is in connection with three incidents in which motorbikes were stolen from properties in Oldfield Park, Staple Hill and St George on March 30, October 25 and November 29 respectively.

A second 16-year-old boy is charged with conspiracy to burgle in connection with a number of dwelling burglaries between February 24 and December 21 last year.

He also faces a charge of aggravated taking without an owner’s consent in connection with an incident earlier this year on January 2 in which a quadbike was stolen from a property in Staple Hill and subsequently damaged.

Finally, he has been charged in connection with an incident on January 14 in which an electric scooter was stolen from a property in Kingswood.

A 17-year-old boy is charged with conspiracy to receive stolen goods between June 14 and December 10 last year, namely motorbikes.
