16 times Edinburgh hilariously went viral and entertained the whole internet

It's sometimes a bit hard to recall what we used to do before the internet was a thing. Where did people share photos of their dinner? How did they watch cat videos?

And to be fair, the internet has been around for quite a long time, which is why it's hard to remember pre-Twitter life.

The World Wide Web basically changed the world, and created a lightning-fast information system that made it much easier for people in Edinburgh to post funny photos online. And boy, did they take advantage of that. Here are 16 times Edinburgh and its residents have gone viral. Enjoy!
