BHOPAL: A total of 16 new Covid-19 positive cases were reported in the state, as per the state health bulletin released on Wednesday.
With these new cases, tally of positive cases reported so far in the state reached 7,92,596. There were a total of 121 active cases in the state as on October 6. This has increased slightly over the last one month as there were only 83 active cases on September 1.
Of the total new cases reported on Wednesday, 11 were reported from Bhopal alone. Apart from that, three new cases were reported from Indore, while Jabalpur district reported two new cases.
On Wednesday, positivity rate of 0.01% was reported.
Out of 61,407 samples tested, 10 were found positive.
A total of 17 people recovered from the disease on October 6. Apart from it, no deaths were reported in the state on Wednesday.
Over 1.44 lakh vac doses given in MP
A total of only 1.44 lakh Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered in the state on Wednesday, as per health bulletin released by the directorate of health services.
With these doses being administered on Wednesday, a total of 6.45 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the state so far.
