16 Moroccan Tech Firms Participate in Vivatech in Paris

The national Digital Development Agency (ADD) has arranged for 16 Moroccan start-ups to attend the annual Vivatech conference held in Paris.

The conference, running from May 16 to 18, brings together start-ups specialized in the tech field from all over the world.

The 16 start-ups were selected by the ADD based on previously determined standards that aim to discover emerging firms excelling in GreenTech, HealthTech, EdTech, TransporTech, and Artificial Intelligence sectors.

On the sidelines of Vivatech, Moroccan start-ups participated to attract contractors, directors, innovators, investors, capital owners, and individuals passionate about technology and media in order to explore various available job opportunities between ADD and influencers in the technology field.

Four firms out of the 16 showcased their innovations to investors and influential figures in the world of technology, highlighting the qualifications of Moroccan youths.

The conference hosted more than 10,000 visitors during the edition of 2018.

ADD is implementing the state’s strategy in digital development, reinforcing digital means and developing its use in administration and firms. It also proposes to the government general guidelines that should be followed in the digital development field, and makes recommendations that would enhance digital development conditions. It also gives feedback on several topics referred to it by the government, especially the impact of technology on society and economy.
