BHOPAL: A total of 16 new Covid-19 positive cases were reported in the state on Saturday.
With these new cases, tally of positive cases reported so far in the state reached 7,92,327.
There were a total of 136 active cases in the state as on September 11. This has also increased in the last one week as there were only 83 active cases on September 1.
New cases were reported in single digits from all the districts of the state. Moreover, no new case was reported from 45 districts of the state. Only one new case was reported from four of the seven districts where new cases were reported.
Maximum cases were reported from Jabalpur district where eight people tested positive, followed by two new cases each from Bhopal and Anuppur districts. One new case was reported each from Betul, Gwalior, Indore and Seoni districts.
Besides, a positivity rate of 0.02% was reported on Saturday. On Saturday, 65,472 samples were tested of which 16 were found positive.
A total of 10 people recovered from the disease on Saturday. With these people recovering, the number of people who have recovered so far from the disease reached 7,81,674. Besides, no death was reported in the state on Saturday and the death toll due to Covid-19 remained at 10,517.
