We all remember our school days, sharing memories and reminiscing like it was just yesterday.
But as the years pass and people's lives go on, how many classmates do you actually remember? And how many do you know went on to become some of Merseyside's most celebrated faces?
Like many other areas across the region, the borough of Knowsley boasts a huge catalogue of talented people, from world-champion athletes to stars on the big screen, comedians, musicians and more.
While many primary and secondary schools still stand in the borough, others have closed down over the years, merged, been completely demolished or even reborn with new names and buildings - but the legacy of their alumni continues.
Here, we take a look at a number of Knowsley schools and the famous former pupils that once walked their corridors.
This list is by no means complete and, for some of the schools and notable people, only limited information is available. But if you can tell us more schools and famous people who studied at them to be included, let us know in the comments section.
