An "amazingly generous" customer has donated a ring worth £1500 to a Cancer Research charity shop in Glasgow city centre.
The sparkling 18 carat gold, diamond Rox ring was handed over to stunned staff at the Cancer Research UK shop on Queen Street in the past few weeks.
A staff member told Glasgow Live that the "one-off" donation was handed in to the shop on a Sunday shift recently by an anonymous member of the public.
They also confirmed that after coming across it, the ring was then taken to the ROX Argyll Arcade designer jewellery store nearby to have it valued before it was placed up for sale on Saturday.
Since then, Cancer Research staff have received a couple of phone calls and visits to the store from people interested in the ring - which remains for sale within the shop.
Let's hope it finds itself on some lucky Glaswegian's finger very soon!
Special shout-out to the person who handed it in!
