15 surprisingly dog-friendly places in Edinburgh you might not know about

Edinburgh is a city of dog-lovers, there's no doubt about that.

Wherever you are in the Scottish capital, you're rarely far away from a dog-friendly pub that will welcome your furry friend and treat them to a bowl of water and a gravy bone.

But it isn't just pubs that are dog-friendly, other businesses are too.

You can actually take your pup to the gym in Edinburgh, not to mention antique shopping, or to yoga.

In fact, so many businesses in Edinburgh throw their doors open to dogs that we think it might actually be a world record.

Here are some of the most surprising ones we found.

Did we miss any? If so, let us know by joining our friendly Facebook group Edinburgh Loves Pets.
