15 separate roadworks planned on same week in Mansfield area

Drivers across the Mansfield area are being advised to expect traffic disruption with more than a dozen separate roadworks planned in the same week.

Via East Midlands, which oversees highways on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council, has planned works on 15 different roads in the district from June 1.

The works, in the Mansfield Woodhouse and Warsop areas, will allow firm Tarmac can cleans gullies across the region.

In total, seven roads across Mansfield Woodhouse and eight across the Warsop parish will be affected, with plans in place for stop and go boards.

The works will be in place from 9am until 3.30pm between Monday, June 1 and Friday, June 5.

The Mansfield Woodhouse roads are: Debdale Lane; Priory Square; Warsop Road; New Mill Lane; Leeming Lane South; Leeming Lane North; and Sherwood Street.

Leeming Lane, Spion Kop and Longster Lane in Warsop Vale will also be affected, as well as Church Road and Eastlands Lane in Church Warsop, and High Street, Forest Road and Peafield Lane in Warsop.
