There are now 12 places in County Durham where coronavirus infection rates are now in the green.
The latest figures from Public Health England reveal Durham city has the lowest infection rate in the area in the week leading up to December 3.
The city currently has a rate of 34.5 per 100,000 of the population.
It comes after the city was identified as a UK coronavirus hotspot in October after it recorded more than 600 positive cases in one week , which was put down to a major outbreak at Durham University.
Shotton and Haswell has the second lowest rate with 43.8, while Aykley Heads, Neville’s Cross and Langely Moor is 60.9.
Overall, County Durham recorded 782 cases in the week leading up to December 3, with an infection rate of 147.5.
But Durham County Council has warned residents in Newtonhall, Brasside, Pity Men and Framwellgate Moor to "remain vigilant" after the areas recorded a spike in cases with the rate more than three times the national average.
Newtonhall and Brasside has a rate of 560.3, while Pity Me and Framwellgate Moor has a rate of 427.7.
The national average is currently 148 cases per 100,000.
