Reports in Spain claim that Barcelona are considering a shock move for Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette this summer.
The Frenchman has been in excellent form this campaign and was this week named the club's Player of the Year after a terrific season in north London.
In and out the team 12 months ago following the January arrival of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the striker has netted 18 goals in 46 games in all competitions to earn the prestigious gong.
According to Barcelona based publication Mundo Deportivo , the 27-year-old's form is believed to have alerted the La Liga champions in regards to a potential move.
Barcelona are keen to bring in a new forward and they have been linked with a big-money move for Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann, who was tipped to move to the Nou Camp last summer.
If they once again fail to lure the French international to the club, it is reported that they see Lacazette as a potential alternative to strengthen going forward.
Mundo Deportivo claim the player is valued between €65-70million, although that fee could be lowered if they try to include one or both of Andre Gomes and Samuel Umtiti in the deal.
A number of players have made the same move in the past with the likes of Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas, Marc Overmars and Emmanuel Petit just some that have swapped London for Barcelona.
