14-year-old girl grazed in South Shore shooting

A 14-year-old girl was hurt in a shooting Saturday in South Shore.

She was at a party about midnight in the 7800 block of South Kingston Avenue when she got into an argument with someone she knew who threatened to shoot her if she did not leave, Chicago police said.

The teen left the party and heard gunshots as she was leaving, police said. A bullet grazed her in the shoulder, and she was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in good condition.

No arrests have been made. Area Two detectives are investigating.
