The initial 53-man rosters for each team are set. Once cutdown day happens, there are upwards of 1,200 players that are released looking for a new team. Some of those players will make the practice squad with 16 spots for each team while others will find their way onto the 53-man roster for another team.
The Minnesota Vikings are in a position where they will be adding to the 53-man roster. They only have eight offensive linemen, five defensive linemen and four traditional cornerbacks with NaJee Thompson being a special teams ace.
Who are some players the Vikings could target with their current roster needs? We identified 14 players, most of them rookies, who the Vikings should consider adding to their roster.
