14 Liverpool first-team stars have never lost a Premier League game for the Reds at Anfield

Liverpool have undoubtedly been one of the best teams in Europe over the last two seasons.

After years of transfers and tinkering with his squad, Jurgen Klopp has made the Merseysiders a European powerhouse again.

The German guided the Reds to Champions League glory in the 2018-19 season, beating their Premier League rivals Tottenham in the final.

And Klopp, who recently celebrated his five-year anniversary at Anfield, ended the club's 30-year wait to lift the league title last season - further etching his name into the club's history books.

Over the last two seasons, Liverpool have been imperious form in the league - in particular at Anfield.

In fact, Klopp and his troops have made Anfield a fortress for the last three-and-half years - with their last league defeat coming at the hands of Crystal Palace in April 2017.

Since that defeat to the Eagles, Liverpool have won 53 of their 64 home league matches.

And 14 of Liverpool's current squad have yet to taste defeat at Anfield.

Alisson Becker, Adrian, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Fabinho, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita , Xherdan Shaqiri, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Taki Minamino, Neco Williams, Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota have yet to lose a league game on the hallowed Anfield turf.

Some of the names on that list - Minamino and Jota - shouldn't come as a huge surprise given their short stints at the club.

But the fact the likes of Salah, Van Dijk and Mane haven't lost at Anfield in the league is a testament to how imperious the Merseysiders have been at home during the second-half of Klopp's reign.

Liverpool will be back in action on Wednesday night, welcoming Atalanta to Anfield for their fourth Champions League Group D match.

The Reds currently sit at the summit of Group D with nine points having made a flawless start to their latest European campaign.
