As another long summer holiday is looming, many parents might be starting to panic about how they are going to keep their kids entertained.
But as always, bosses at venues across Bristol and beyond have been planning a whole host of fun activities for the break.
From African carnivals to pirate-themed fun days and spellbinding theatres shows, there's pretty much something scheduled for every day of August.
And to make sure you don't miss out on any of it, we've complied a helpful list.
Climate action: We the Curious

Throughout the school holidays this attraction is hosting an event to get kids thinking about positive actions for a better world.
Using interactive props, organisers hope to get children thinking about the air we breathe, the food we eat and the people who can make a difference.
When? From May 27 until the end of summer holidays.
Wonders of the walled garden: Tyntesfield

Young green-fingered enthusiasts should enjoy this family-friendly gardening workshop where kids will be given a tour of the venue's walled gardens and then offered the chance to make something tasty to eat afterwards.
The session is aimed at kids aged five to 12.

Pirate fun: The Galleries
There will be the chance for little ones to pose for photos in their pirate-themed set, meet and pose with a captured mermaid and create their own pirate disguise in the transformation craft workshops.
Families will also be able to play in the tin can alley and enjoy balloon modelling and pirate glitter tattoos, before taking their turn to walk the plank.
When? July 26 to 27.
Horrible Histories: Bristol Hippodrome

Using actors and 3D special effects, the team will bring to life the interesting lives of both the Tudors and Egyptians during two hilarious shows.
When? Between July 24 to 27.

Summer holiday fun: Puxton Park
Discos, comedy shows and magicians are just some of the highlights planned at this attraction to keep the little ones entertained throughout August.
There will also bubble parties and outdoor games hosted on various dates throughout the summer break.

Summer holiday fun: Windmill Hill Farm

For kids who love to get up close and personal with wildlife, these lots going on at this venu.
From pond sessions to Minecraft-themed days exploring the farm and pizza making courses, picnics and water play, organisers have arranged a host of activities.
When? From July 25 to August 22.

Super pirates holiday club: Avon Valley Adventure Park
This Ofsted registered holiday club allows kids to enjoy all of the activities at the attraction while being cared for by trained staff.
They will also be offered the chance to pet animals, take part in arts and crafts, boating, face painting and pig racing.
When? Various dates starting from July 30.

We're Going on a Bear Hunt: Old Vic

This smash-hit production of We’re Going on a Bear Hunt is coming to Bristol directly after its stint at the West End.
Little ones can expect lots of singing and music during the 55-minute show. The performance is billed as being ideal for kids aged three or older.

Be Not Afeard: Creative Workspace
As part of the city's Shakespeare festival, this venue is hosting a highly 'iimmersive and sensory' version of The Tempest.
Aimed at kids aged between 0 to seven, this play promises music and lots of fun.

Camp Bestival, Dorest

Kids will be blown away by this magical festival offering everything from go carts, to soft play tents.
They can also learn a few circus tricks while having their face painted or spinning round on a vintage fairground ride.
As darkness falls, there'll be campfire songs and a chance to enjoy some creative play.
When? July 25 to 28.
The Bird Show: Tobacco Factory
Billed as a fact-filled family comedy by The Last Baguette, this one hour show was written by ward-winning playwright Tiffany Woodsmit.
It's suitable for kids aged four or over.
When? August 4 at 1aam and 2pm.

African Carnival: Noah's Ark
From acrobats to African dancers, drummers and a range of giant African carnival animals, this explosive event is sure to entertain the whole family.
There will also be a chance for the little ones to learn some of the dance moves and drum.

Marky Jay - Monkey Magic Show: Zion
Expect mind-boggling impressive magic tricks, juggling and a humorous monkey assistant.
This one hour show is being hosted at Zion Community Art Space.
When? July 31 at 10:30am.
Jurassic Park: Bristol Zoo
As part of the venue's Summer Screens, this classic will be showing at zoo.
BBQ food & snacks will be available to purchase. The event is aimed at kids aged five and over.
When? 6:30pm on August 31.
