14 incredible pictures from Liverpool's Halloween parade

The biggest ever Halloween light parade took over Liverpool city centre tonight.

From unusual sights to loud bangs and shrieks, there’s been some rather unusual happenings going on in the city tonight.

That’s because ghouls and zombies joined drumming and dance carnival band Katumba to launch an immersive spectacle featuring visual performance, theatre and music.

Transforming the city centre into a magical environment using puppetry, dazzling lights and tribal drumming, Katumba brought Halloween to life tonight.

Starting from 8pm at the corner of Bold Street and Colquitt Street, the parade headed through the city centre towards Church Street, along to Williamson Square, and into Liverpool ONE, before finishing at the green steps.
