
No arrests have been made in a mass shooting that left 13 people injured near Oklahoma City.
CBS News reported that someone opened fire on young people having a party near Arcadia Lake in Edmond. The gunfire erupted around 9 p.m. Sunday and sent at least 13 people to area hospitals.
"This is obviously a very terrifying situation, and we understand the concern from the public and those involved and we are working extremely hard to find the suspects," Edmond police spokesperson Emily Ward said. "We're kind of all over the metro speaking with victims and witnesses," she added.
The Associated Press reported that 10 of those injured were taken to hospitals in ambulances, and another three drove themselves to a hospital. Ward described the victims as being in "various conditions."
WRAL reported that the event had been advertised as "Sunday Funday." The station reported that during the event, two masked suspects opened fire on the attendees.
A flyer advertising the event promised "Good Vibes Good People." According to the flyer, the event was scheduled for 6 p.m. to midnight at the Scissortrail campground and included food, drinks, and music.
The Associated Press reported that 10 people were at Integris Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Three others were at Integris Health Edmond Hospital.
