These are the 13 WORST Dublin hotspots where you are most likely to catch Covid-19 right now.

New figures by the Department of Health has shown a significant jump in infections in a number of towns, regions and villages across the capital.

The stats outline the rate of new infections by each Local Electoral Area (LEA) from October 6 until October 19.

One of the key measures used by health officials to identify so called 'red zones' is the incidence rate.

This is the confirmed cases per 100,000 population over the last two weeks.

And by this metric, the worst-hit area in Dublin is Ballymun-Finglas with 456.3 in the last fortnight.

That is the only area in the 400s with other big hotspots in the high 300s including Palmerstown-Fonthill and Artane-Whitehall.

The lowest of the redzones is Kimmage-Rathmines with a still extremely high 243.5.

Here is the hardest-hit Local Electoral Areas in Dublin up to October 19 by LEA rate per 100k population:
