Former Manchester City footballer Gareth Barry has slashed half-a-million pounds off his Cheshire mansion.
He put the seven-bedroom pad up for sale for £4.5m in November 2016.
But after struggling to find a buyer he's knocked over £500,000 off the price.
The sprawling 30-acre country estate in Sproston, close to Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, is now being listed at a guide price of £3,950,000.
As well as the bedrooms, the 9,000 sq.ft property comes with seven bathrooms and 13 private stables.
It also has an outdoor tennis court which doubles as a football pitch, and a former aircraft hangar.
The midfielder, who left the Blues five years ago, now plays for Championship side West Bromwich Albion.
It is believed he is looking for a new pile, closer to the Baggies’ training ground, having recently announced he wants to continue playing for at least one more year.
Barry, who holds the Premier League record for most appearances - with 653 games under his belt - paid £3.2m for the property, known as Dawfields, in 2009.
He set about completely refurbishing and modernising it with the help of an interior design company.
Internally, the accommodation is set around a large stone floored entrance hall with a sweeping staircase up to the first floor gallery.

This area is currently home to many of Barry’s England caps.
