Today marked the start of the first day of this year's BBC Summer Social which is taking place at Croxteth Park this weekend.
Despite the festival seeming to get off to a shakey start with long queues and reports of parents being forced to wait an hour to enter , it looks like everyone enjoyed their day.

Today, Pixie Lott, Busted, John Newman and X-Factor's Rak-Su all performed however it looks like it was Max & Harvey who were among the main attractions.
BBC Summer Social will return Croxteth Park tomorrow with gates set to open at 9am and entertainment from 10am.
Former Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq will be among the famous faces heading to the park.
