We all know Leeds is home to lots of wonderful chippies.
Although, annoyingly, and wrongly in our opinion, not a single one from our great city made the shortlist for the UK's top 20 fish and chip shops.
And, that's just disgraceful isn't it? So, to try and rectify this we are celebrating the very best of Leeds' chippies - with recommendations from you.
And as it's National Fish and Chips Day today, what better time to do it?
We've previously sought guidance from TripAdvisor to list the top 10 fish and chip shops in our city. It featured eateries such as a Skyliner, Captain Thornton’s and Hook and Line amongst others.
While you agreed with some of those included, many of you also passionately sang the praises of fish and chip shops that didn’t feature.
This felt like the right time to revisit it following Leeds' glaring omission from the UK's top 20 fish and chip shops list.
