Thirteen new cases of novel coronavirus infection have been confirmed among people involved in the Tokyo Paralympics, including one foreign athlete, the Games organizing committee said Monday.
The foreign Paralympian had not yet stayed at the athletes village in the Harumi district of Chuo Ward, Tokyo.
This athlete brought to five the total number of Paralympians who had tested positive as of Monday.
