12yo missing in Sydney's west found safe and well

A 12-year-old girl has been found safe and well, more than 24 hours after she went missing from her western Sydney home.

The girl went missing from her family's Berala home about 9:00pm (AEDT) on Wednesday.

Her mother flagged down a police car after searching nearby streets for the girl, and relatives continued to search yesterday.

She walked into Auburn Police Station yesterday about 11:00pm and was reunited with her family.
