12 youths aged between 12 and 16 charged after disturbance in Maryhill

12 youths between the ages of 12 and 16 have been charged in connection with a disturbance in Maryhill.

Police were called to the scene of the incident yesterday around 6.30pm, following the report of a disturbance on Wyndford Road in the Wyndford area.

Enquiries are currently ongoing.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Police Scotland can confirm that 12 youths, aged between 12 and 16 were charged in connection with a disturbance on Wyndford Road, Glasgow on Saturday, 30 May, 2020."

The news comes on the afternoon Health Secretary Jeane Freeman advised that "life should not feel normal" amid the lockdown changes.
