12-Year-Old Suspect Arrested After Shooting At Finnish Primary School

A 12-year-old suspect was arrested in Finland on Tuesday morning after a shooting at a primary school in Vantaa left three 12-year-olds wounded. The incident occurred at Viertola Primary School shortly after 7 a.m. local time.

Authorities responded promptly to the shooting, with residents advised to avoid the area. The injured students were swiftly transported to a hospital for medical treatment.

School principal Sari Laasila reassured the public, stating, 'The immediate danger is over.' Emergency services, including armed police officers, were present at the scene to ensure the safety of the school community.
