Families looking to treat themselves this cold weekend to a takeaway are being offered plenty food for thought thanks to the number of North East restaurants running delivery or collection services during their lockdown closure.
Many people are hugely missing the whole experience of eating out so are finding the next best thing is enjoying a taste of their favourite restaurants at home.
As we begin our first weekend back under national lockdown, the idea of a delivery - or takeout - treat to cheer ourselves up will be extra tempting - and the thought of being saved any work in the kitchen only adds to the appeal.
