Sound City 2019 has officially arrived and it has taken over the Baltic Triangle .
The festival has returned to the city for its 12th year and is sprawled across a range of venues within the creative quarter of the city.
The first day is already well under way, with thousands of music fans heading into the city centre for gigs in venues such as Constellations , Hangar 34, Brick Street and many more.
Festival goers have already been treated to sets from Paris Youth Foundation, Sophie and the Giants, and Red Rum Club - and there’s even more still to come.
