BHOPAL: A total of 12 new Covid-19 positive cases were reported in the state on Tuesday, as per the state health bulletin. With this, the tally of positive cases reported so far in the state reached 7,92,647.
There were 109 active cases in the state as on October 12. This has also increased as there were only 83 active cases on September 1. New cases were reported in single digits from all the districts and no new case was reported from 48 districts of the state.
Maximum cases were reported from Bhopal district as 5 people tested positive, followed by 4 new cases in Rajgarh, 2 new cases in Indore and one case was reported from Sagar district. On Tuesday, positivity rate of 0.02% was reported.
On October 12, 53,260 samples were tested and of it12 were found positive, thus on an average 1 person, out of every around 4500 who were tested, was found to be positive.
A total of 6 people recovered from the disease on October 12. With these people recovering the number of people who have recovered so far from the disease reached 782015. Apart from it, no death was reported in the state on Monday and the death toll due to Covid-19 remained 10523.
