12 neighbours in Liverpool street land £1,000 each

Twelve people living in a Liverpool street have landed £1,000 each thanks to their postcode.

The lucky neighbours of Blackthorn Crescent in Stockbridge Village, L28 1NT, were the winners of the People's Postcode Lottery on Tuesday April 14.

Meanwhile this afternoon, April 18, another five lucky lottery winners living in Wirral were also announced.

The neighbours of CH62 6EL in Bromborough, are celebrating cashing in on the £1000 prize.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to the winners.

She said: “What lovely news to start off your weekend. Congratulations to our winners!”

A minimum of 32 percent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £500 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

The Liverpool and Wirral draws were promoted by Woodland Trust which has received over £13.1 million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

Woodland Trust is the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity, owning over 1,000 different woods across the country and supporting a wide range of plants and wildlife, while attracting thousands of visitors each year.
