12 Cardinals rookies get Madden ratings

The full player ratings for Madden 20  were released by EA Sports for the rookies in the NFL. For the Arizona Cardinals, that meant 12 players appeared. They had 11 draft picks. All 11 have their full ratings and also one undrafted rookie, lineman William Sweat.

QB Kyler Murray

Murray is a disappointing 73 overall but is the highest-rated quarterback. He has a 91 speed rating, 82 elusiveness, 87 for breaking sacks, 89 for throwing power, 82 for short throw accuracy, 78 for medium passes and 82 for deep passes.

CB Byron Murphy

Murphy is the No. 1 cornerback in the draft class with a 75 overall rating.

Other notable ratings are 88 for speed, 95 for agility, 73 catch rating, 63 for catching in traffic, 87 for jumping, 77 for man coverage, 78 for zone coverage and 77 for press coverage.

WR Andy Isabella

Isabella is one point below Kyler Murray with a 72 overall rating.

His other notable ratings are 95 for speed, 93 for acceleration, 88 for elusiveness, 82 for catching, 78 for catching in traffic, 81 for spectacular catch and 87 for jumping.

DL Zach Allen

Allen has an overall 69 rating.

His important ratings for his position are 74 for speed, 84 for acceleration, 82 for strength, 78 for tackling, 80 for power, 74 for block shedding, 69 for power moves, 78 for pursuit and 72 for play recognition.

WR Hakeem Butler

Butler is equal to Isabella and one point overall lower than Murray at 72 overall.

His notable ratings are 88 for speed, 82 for agility, 87 for acceleration, 77 for juke moves, 78 for catching, 84 for catching in traffic, 87 for spectacular catch and 87 for jumping.

S Deointe Thompson

Thompson has 69 overall rating like Allen.

The other notable ratings for his position are 87 for speed, 88 for acceleration, 86 for agility, 59 for strength, 68 for catching, 85 for jumping, 69 for tackling, 77 for power, 67 for man coverage, 73 for zone coverage, 67 for press and 76 for pursuit.

OL Lamont Gaillard

Gaillard has a 66 overall rating.

Other important ratings for his position are 88 for strength, 69 for pass blocking, 71 for run blocking and 85 for impact blocking.

WR KeeSean Johnson

Johnson has a 67 overall rating

Other ratings important to his position are 88 for speed (which is a surprise), 89 for acceleration, 90 for agility, 76 for elusiveness, 80 for catching, 77 for catching in traffic, 76 for spectacular catches and 80 for jumping.

Miles has a 56 overall rating.

The other notable ratings for his position are 82 for acceleration, 85 for strength, 63 for pass blocking, 63 for run blocking and 79 for impact blocking.

DL Michael Dogbe

Dogbe has an overall 66 rating

Other important ratings for his position are 70 for speed, 85 for acceleration, 87 for strength, 77 for tackling, 78 for power, 71 for block shedding, 70 for power moves and 79 for pursuit.

TE Caleb Wilson

Wilson, the last player drafted, has an overall 66 rating

Other ratings that are important to playing tight end are 86 for speed, 86 for acceleration, 66 for strength, 75 for catching, 74 for catching in traffic, 78 for spectacular catches, 72 for jumping, 53 for pass blocking and 54 for run blocking.

OL William Sweet

Sweet is the only undrafted Cardinals player to get a Madden rating. His overall rating is 56.

His other ratings of note are 88 for strength, 62 for pass blocking, 64 for run blocking and 76 for impact blocking.
