12,000 join the Daily Press post office campaign

The Western Daily Press is about to sign up the 12,000th signatory to its "Don't Sound The Last Post" petitition. It is part of the paper's campaign to prevent the reduction in post office services. Next week members of the Press staff will hand in the petition to Downing Street during a rally organised by the National Federation of SubPostmasters, which is backed by more than 3m people.
