11-year-old boy grazed in Englewood shooting

An 11-year-old boy was grazed by a bullet Saturday in Englewood after two people opened fire on him.

The boy was walking towards a parked vehicle about 1:55 p.m. in the 7200 block of South Paulina when two males approached him from an open lot and started shooting at him, Chicago police said.

The boy was grazed on the left thigh and taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition.

Area South detectives are investigating.
