BHOPAL: Count of second dose of Covid vaccine in Bhopal crossed the 11 lakh mark on Monday. About 57% of the city’s eligible population is now fully vaccinated. There are an estimated 19.5 lakh people who need to be vaccinated.
Nine in every ten individuals vaccinated to protect against Covid-19 was seeking the second jab, here on Monday. 8,444 people were vaccinated during the day, according to government data.
Monday’s tally was the highest inoculation number since in almost 10 days. The number of people turning up to get vaccinated has been on the decline in the festive season.
6,531 people who got vaccinated on Monday were between 18 to 44 years old while 1,268 were between 45 to 60 and elderly getting the second dose were 645.
Overall, total vaccination doses administered count in Bhopal reached 30,81,898. Dose one count stood at 19,76,270 and dose two stands at 11,05,628.
