11 hurt after work vehicle crashes with commuter train in Washington DC

Eleven people were injured after a work vehicle struck a stationary Silver Line commuter train at the Metro Center station in downtown Washington.
The incident occurred just after midnight on Wednesday, with all injuries reported as non-life-threatening.
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (Metro) confirmed the collision and is investigating the cause.
Metro has advised passengers to anticipate system-wide delays throughout Wednesday morning due to the incident.
Some trains in the affected area are currently operating on a single track as the investigation continues.
