One of the west end's favourite bar restaurants has extended its unique sun terrace offering and is just one of a handful of places you can drink outdoors in Glasgow before 10pm.
Due to its position on first-floor level, drinks can be served on the terrace beyond the usual 10pm licensing cut off and as such owners have now decided to extend opening hours at the beautiful outdoor area to midnight on Fridays, Saturday and Sundays.
The space has also been redesigned to make it 'as comfortable as possible' for its guests, with heaters installed under the gazebo and blankets handed out when it gets a little cold.

What's more, 1051 GWR will now be serving up free pizza at 10pm, while their new frozen margaritas, launched in recent weeks, are already a huge hit.
Speaking to Glasgow Live about the unique space on Great Western Road, owner David Maguire said he's realised people's drinking habits in terms of being outside have changed during the pandemic. Previously, the sun terrace was largely reserved for private functions and events, however, such is the desire for cocktails under the Glasgow sunshine - and later into the evening - they've decided to shout a little louder about this one-of-kind sun trap - and rightly so.
He explained: "We didn't really appreciate until Covid hit the extent to which people wanted to remain outdoors until late on. People do like sitting outdoors - they can do and if it's comfortable they will.
"At 1051 GWR we have a pleasant space exists where people can come when places outside have to close at 10pm. They can come here and continue outside until midnight. It's a late night outdoor space which is as comfortable as it's possible to make a place.
"The space we have for them has been thoughtfully put together. We've got good seating, heating and lighting. We've got a very quick ordering system with the QR codes - you don't need to go down to the bar and drinks will be brought to yoy."
And adding to the attraction of drinking under the stars is the free pizza, delicious margaritas - this weekend with added Kraken rum - and roof terrace soundsystem, with the new extended hours coming into play on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
"Also, at 10pm we serve free pizza. We've recently launched a frozen margarita cocktail which has been a phenomenal success. This weekend, we're adding some Kraken rum to the margaritas, which give them that extra bit of sweetness, caramel and vanilla.
"We've got the music system installed up here and if anyone wants to play a particular bit of music they can play it through our system too."
