'100%' - Dropped Nottingham Forest star speaks out after QPR defeat

Dropped Nottingham Forest star Yuri Ribeiro has spoken out about Sabri Lamouchi's decision to omit him from the matchday squad for today's 2-0 defeat to Queens Park Rangers.

The Reds have begun the season with two defeats in two matches, following up last weekend's Carabao Cup exit at Barnsley with a loss at Loftus Road.

Forest conceded the first goal nine minutes after half-time when Lyndon Dykes scored from the penalty spot while Ilias Chair made sure of the win for Mark Warburton's side in injury time.

Lamouchi made the decision to drop Ribeiro in favour of new signing Tyler Blackett, who started the Barnsley game at centre-back.

Ribeiro, who played at Barnsley, was dropped and Blackett shunted to full-back with Joe Worrall returning to the starting lineup.

After the match Lamouchi admitted he may have made the wrong call in dropping Ribeiro, who made 31 appearances in his first campaign at Forest last season.

And the Portuguese international has spoken out on social media.

"Many people asked me if I am injured and fortunately I am not and I feel 100 per cent," he said on Twitter.

"Confident and focused on the next game to return to winning ways!!!"

Forest are back in action when Cardiff City head to the City Ground on Saturday (12.30pm).
