100 days until Packers and Bears open 2019 NFL season

Only 100 days remain until the Green Bay Packers travel to Chicago to play the Bears in the NFL’s opening game of the 2019 season, as noted by Adam Schefter of ESPN on Tuesday morning.

The primetime opener is set for September 5 at Soldier Field. The longtime rivals will help celebrate the start of the NFL’s 100th anniversary season with their 199th overall meeting.

The opener will also be the first career game for new Packers head coach Matt LaFleur and the beginning of the Bears’ NFC North title defense.

If 100 days seems like too long, don’t fret: It’s only 58 days until the Packers open training camp and 72 days until the Packers host the Houston Texans for the preseason opener. And if you’re really optimistic, it’s 250 days until Super Bowl LIV in Miami.
