The 2019 Training Camp period is inching closer for the Washington Redskins, where fans can see their favorite players crack some pads starting on Thursday, July 25. See below for some frequently asked questions about attending practice.
1. Where do the practices take place?
The Redskins will hold their 22 on-field open sessions at Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center in Richmond, VA. For a full schedule (which is subject to change depending on weather), click here.
2. Is there a fee to attend?
Admission to Training Camp is free for all fans, but entry to the Washington Redskins Bon Secours Training Facility is not guaranteed.
Fans must sign up for a free Fan Mobile Pass, and present their pass, to enter an of the open practice dates.
3. Where can you park?
The City of Richmond has released the locations of the parking lots for visitors to 2019 training camp. All official City locations are $10 to park, cash only. This fee will allow same-day re-entry with parking pass. All City parking lots are within two blocks of training camp.
Parking lots will open no earlier than 30 minutes prior to training camp and will close 30 minutes after the end of camp.Click here for a full schedule.
4. Can you bring chairs?
There are no bleachers on-site, but fans can watch practice from the three-tier outdoor amphitheater, and are also encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on during practice.
5. Can you bring bags or backpacks?
Fans are allowed to bring in personal items, but all are subject to a metal detector and bag search upon entering the park. For a full list of prohibited item, click here.
6. Can you take pictures during practice?
Yes, but Redskins staff may request at any time that you cease using those devices.
7. Will players stick around to sign autographs?
Yes, following practice there will be a time for Redskins players and coaches to sign autographs and take pictures with fans.
8. Can you bring food to Training Camp?
Outside beverages and food are allowed on the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center premises, however, alcoholic beverages are prohibited. A variety of snacks and beverages from vendors on-site are available for purchase, as well.
9. Are practices ever cancelled?
Yes, practice dates are subject to change without notice, especially in the event of inclement weather. You can check Redskins.com/TrainingCamp for schedule updates.
10. Are you allowed to bring your pet to Training Camp?
No, pets will not be allowed to enter the training camp, unless it is a certified guide dog assisting a disabled guest.
