10 songs guaranteed to help your child fall asleep on Christmas Eve

With only four sleeps til Santa comes, parents might be wondering how they're going to ket their excited kids to sleep on Christmas Eve.

Whether you push dinner time back an hour, change the clocks or take them out a long walk to tire them out, parents up and down the country will be keen to get their little ones tucked up early and hope they sleep all night.

If none of the usual advice seems to work on your child, why not try soothing them to sleep with some Christmas music.

A study by Beds Divan, has found the top ten songs most likely to send your child to sleep on Christmas Eve.

With research stating that a song with a music tempo of around 60 beats per minute can increase the chances of you falling asleep, Beds Divans.

The results found that ‘River’ by Joni Mitchell ranks as the most relaxing Christmas song based on BPM with a BPM rate of 61, followed by that ‘White Christmas’ by Michael Bublé ft Shania Twain in second place.
