10 safest areas in Liverpool where you're least likely to be a victim of crime

New data has revealed the safest areas in Liverpool where you are at least risk of being a victim of crime.

Statistics released by the government in September give the latest picture on neighbourhoods across England.

Liverpool is now the fourth most deprived local authority in the country, behind Blackpool, Manchester and nearby Knowsley.

The new data looks at seven different aspects of deprivation - income, employment, skills/education, health, crime risk, the living environment and accessibility to housing and services.

The crime domain measures the risk of personal and material victimisation at local level.

At the other end of the scale, the area with the highest risk of being a victim of crime is around Newsham Park.

According to the data, the Princes Dock area is where people are at least risk of personal and material victimisation.
