10 of the best rated care homes in Nottinghamshire, according to CQC

The top 10 rated care homes closest to Nottingham city centre have been revealed by the CQC. The Care Quality Commission visits care homes across the county and the rest of the country, carrying out inspections and releasing a report grading the service afterwards.

Its ratings range from outstanding to inadequate and care homes are often visited unannounced so inspectors can get a glimpse of what life is like for those living there. A number of care homes across Nottingham and the rest of the county have recieved the best possible 'outstanding' grade in their most recent visit, meaning they are among the very best in the country.

Below is a list of the 10 outstanding services which are closest to Nottingham city centre, according to the CQC website. It's worth noting that these aren't the only outstanding care homes services in Nottinghamshire - all of those listed below are, at most, 12 and a half miles away. We haven't included any care homes focusing on caring for younger people, either, only those focusing on providing care for more elderly people.
