An FIR has been filed against at least 10 who allegedly flouted lockdown rules by assembling at Juhu beach at midnight on August 5, said officials of Santacruz police station.
They were there to celebrate the birthday of one in the group. They are people part of a group who wear several gold chains to flaunt the jewellery, said the police. They are friends of ‘Hindustani Bhau’—Babalu Fatak—from Khar Danda locality, the police said.
“They had gone to cut a cake,” said senior inspector Dyaneshwar Ganore. A video of the celebration has gone viral.
