10 North East Instagrammers who post incredible photos of our region

From Berwick to Saltburn-by-the-Sea, we're spoilt for choice when it comes to places to photograph in the North East.

We've got the Angel of the North, two huge football grounds and 110 miles of beautiful coastline on our doorstep.

So it is no surprise photographers flock to the region.

Many take to Instagram to share their incredible photos.

Here are some of their posts you don't want to miss.

Sunderland-based photographer Josh shared this 'fiery sky' at Penshaw Monument snap.

His Instagram feed displays many North East landmarks against picturesque sunrises and sunsets.

To date, over 70,000 images have been shared of the #angelofthenorth on Instagram, but this birds-eye view caught our attention because we've not seen it from this perspective before.

goprojamie enjoys many adventures around the North East with his GoPro Hero 7.

At the start of August 2019 the North East was battered with thunder and lightning.

Many shared their images on social media, but nothing compared to this stormy snap of the Tyne Bridge.

Mr Imagery has been taking pictures since October 2018 and his work features Quayside captures and cityscapes.
